MetaTikTokYouTubeVideo ads for Czechia

Translate your video ads to Czech. Don't wait for the next shoot.

GeckoDub dubs the ad you already run into Czech, in the speaker's own voice. Check the Czech script before any audio is made, so the form of "you", prices and names are right.

Czechia shouldn't wait for the next shoot

Many brands in the region film in one language and sell in several. The Czech store then gets the campaign late, with subtitles, or not at all.

    The usual way
    • The Czech store runs the home-market video with subtitles.
    • The seasonal campaign reaches Czechia after the season.
    • A separate shoot or voiceover per country.
    • Trademarked product names translated into plain nouns.
    With GeckoDub
    • Czech speech in the speaker's own voice.
    • Dub the same ad for every store in the same week.
    • Dub the footage you already have.
    • A glossary keeps them as written.

2Choose CzechPick Czech, and Slovak too if you sell there, then Basic lip-sync, High Quality lip-sync (GoSync 3.0) or none.

3Check the scriptA Czech speaker reads the translation next to the original. On paid plans you can edit any line, including forms of "you", prices and names, before it's voiced.

The free test dubs about 15 seconds of your clip, at reduced quality. You can read its script; edits apply on a paid plan. Your 2 free test translations can be one clip into Czech and Slovak, so you can judge both from the same footage. Paid plans dub the full video at full quality and support bulk upload. Text burned into the picture isn't translated, and GeckoDub doesn't publish to ad platforms.

Test Czech lip-sync on your hardest clip.

Upload the clip you think will break it: a product shown working, fast talking, a hand near the face. Your 2 free test translations can use HQ lip-sync.

Same clip, product held in front of the mouth. Left: other AI dubbing. Right: GeckoDub.

Lip-sync that holds up in real ads.

Real ads have products, mics and head turns in front of the mouth. That's where most lip-sync breaks. GeckoDub is built for these shots.

We edit your real ad. We don’t generate a new one.

GeckoDub doesn’t create an AI avatar or a new video. It keeps your real footage, your products exactly as they are, and your real speaker with their own voice, cloned. Only the mouth is re-synced to the new language. That’s why it looks natural: it’s still your ad.

    “Will our trademarked names survive?”

    Glossary

Dormeo locks names such as Octaspring® and Ecocell® in its glossary. Names marked "do not translate" stay exactly as written.

    How the glossary works
“Will the Czech version sound like someone else?”

    Voice

It uses the speaker's own cloned voice. You need the speaker's permission to clone their voice and face.

    “We sell in five countries.”

    Many stores, one source

Each video and language is its own job, so one source video can feed every store. Bulk upload is part of the paid plans.

    One line, localized

Czech has an informal ty and a formal vy (tykání and vykání), and English "you" doesn't show which one an ad needs. Pick one form for your brand and keep it through the call to action.

    1
Fix the original transcriptCorrect the source once. Sync carries it into every language, so each translation starts from the right words.
    2
Edit any suggested translationSwap a word or phrase for one that fits your brand better, right in the translated script.
    3
Lock names in your glossaryAdd product names once and they stay the same in every language and every video.

Script editing is part of the paid plans. In the free test you see the same review step, but your edits aren’t applied.

    Informal (ty)
    OriginalOrder today and save 20%.
Dubbed versionObjednej ještě dnes a ušetři 20 %."Order today and save 20 percent."
"Ještě dnes" (literally "still today", meaning today while you can) carries the urgency of the English "today".
    Formal (vy)
    OriginalOrder today and save 20%.
Dubbed versionObjednejte ještě dnes a ušetřete 20 %."Order today and save 20 percent."
Both verbs change with the form, so switching from ty to vy is a script edit on a paid plan, not a single word. The translation aims to keep the register of the original.

One Czech option, and Slovak beside it

    Czech

A voice from Czechia. The script is written in standard Czech.

    Slovak

Slovakia has its own option, so you don't have to run the Czech version there. Fragrance Perfumes and Authletic make both a Czech and a Slovak version.

Check these before your Czech ad goes live

Changes to the script apply on paid plans.

    1

    Names take endings

Czech adds case endings to nouns, and foreign names often get them too in speech. A name locked in the glossary stays exactly as written, so read the lines where it appears. If a sentence sounds stiff, rephrase it so the name sits where no ending is needed.

    2

    Prices in koruna

Czech writes prices as 1 290 Kč, with a space before the currency. If the original ad names a euro price, change it in the Czech script.

    3

    Percent signs in subtitles

Czech writes "20 %" with a space. "20%" without a space means "20-percent", as in "20% sleva" (a 20-percent discount). Check your subtitle lines.

    What Czech versions cost

A minute of video uses about 8 tokens without lip-sync, about 20 with standard lip-sync and about 40 with HQ lip-sync. A 30-second ad into Czech and Slovak with standard lip-sync uses about 20 tokens.
