Translate your video ads to Italian. Even with the product in shot.

GeckoDub dubs the ad you already run into Italian, in the speaker's own voice. HQ lip-sync keeps up when a hand or a product passes in front of the mouth.

Your product video works. It just isn't in Italian.

Product ads are often a person holding the product and talking about it. Making that again in Italian means a new presenter and a new shoot, and a plain voiceover drifts away from the mouth.

    The usual way
    • Book an Italian presenter and film again
    • Voiceover that ignores the mouth
    • Italy gets the campaign weeks after your home market
    • Fragrance or product terms translated word for word
    With GeckoDub
    • Dub the footage you have, in the original speaker's voice
    • Optional lip-sync; HQ handles hands and products in front of the face
    • Dub the same ad as soon as it proves itself
    • Read every line before any audio is made, and fix it on a paid plan

The free test dubs about 15 seconds, at reduced quality; you can read its script, but edits apply on a paid plan. Paid plans dub the full video at full quality. Text burned into the picture isn't translated, and GeckoDub doesn't publish to ad platforms.

Hold the product up to the camera. Then test it.

HQ lip-sync is included in the free test, so use it on your hardest clip, the one where the product is closest to the face. Your 2 free test translations are about 15 seconds each.

Lip-sync that holds up in real ads.

Real ads have products, mics and head turns in front of the mouth. That's where most lip-sync breaks. GeckoDub is built for these shots.

We edit your real ad. We don’t generate a new one.

GeckoDub doesn’t create an AI avatar or a new video. It keeps your real footage, your products exactly as they are, and your real speaker with their own voice, cloned. Only the mouth is re-synced to the new language. That’s why it looks natural: it’s still your ad.

What makes an Italian dub hold up

“Will it still sound like our presenter?”

    Voice

Yes, the Italian is spoken in a clone of the presenter's own voice. Ask the presenter's permission first: cloning covers their voice and their face.

“Will our English product names get translated?”

    Glossary

Not if they're in the glossary. Names and set phrases marked "do not translate" stay exactly as written.

    About the Brand Kit

    One line, localized

English "you" can mean one person or everyone watching, formal or not. Italian has to choose: tu, voi, or Lei for a formal brand voice.

    1
Fix the original transcriptCorrect the source once. Sync carries it into every language, so each translation starts from the right words.
    2
Edit any suggested translationSwap a word or phrase for one that fits your brand better, right in the translated script.
    3
Lock names in your glossaryAdd product names once and they stay the same in every language and every video.

Script editing is part of the paid plans. In the free test you see the same review step, but your edits aren’t applied.

    Talking to one viewer (tu)
OriginalTry it and tell us what you think.
Dubbed versionProvalo e dicci cosa ne pensi."Try it and tell us what you think of it."
Informal and personal, as if the presenter speaks to one person.
    Talking to everyone watching (voi)
OriginalTry it and tell us what you think.
Dubbed versionProvatelo e diteci cosa ne pensate."Try it and tell us what you think of it."
English hides the choice; Italian makes you pick. The translation aims to keep the register of the original, so check which form the script uses and keep it the same through the call to action.

One Italian option, voiced for Italy

    Italian

For Italy. It uses an Italy voice, and the script is written in standard Italian.

    Italian-speaking Switzerland

There is no separate option. You can use the Italian option there, but check the script first: prices are in francs, and some everyday words differ. Edits apply on a paid plan.

Check these before your Italian ad goes live

    1

    English words

Italian marketing often uses English words such as "outfit" or "skincare". Decide which ones stay English and lock them in the glossary, so they are said the same way in every ad.

    2

    Prices in the voiceover

Italian writes 19,90 € and says it as "diciannove e novanta". If the voice reads a price oddly, write it out in the script the way it should be spoken (paid plans).

    PUELLA

2,455 videos in 7 languages, including Italian, across 11 country storefronts. Presenters hold a bottle near the face, so PUELLA uses GoSync 3.0, and its published demo dubs a Slovak product video into Italian.

“It has made creating localised content much easier for us and is definitely helping us move faster and grow in new markets.”

    What an Italian version costs

A minute of Italian uses about 40 tokens with HQ lip-sync, about 20 with standard lip-sync and about 8 without lip-sync. So Starter's 100 tokens cover about 5 minutes with standard lip-sync.
