What Is GoSync 3.0?
GeckoDub's lip-sync engine predicts mouth movement behind hands, phones and mics, tracks speakers in profile, and maps several faces at once. On every plan, with HQ at double the tokens.
GoSync 3.0 is GeckoDub's lip-sync engine — the next-generation lip-syncing technology that regenerates a speaker's mouth movements to match translated audio, so a localized video ad looks like it was filmed in that language. It runs as part of the normal translation job and is available on every GeckoDub plan.
What GoSync 3.0 handles
- Occlusion — when a hand, phone, microphone or product blocks part of the face, GoSync predicts the lip movement behind the obstruction instead of smearing the frame, keeping facial integrity with near-zero visual artifacts
- Dynamic movement — speakers who turn their head, talk in profile or move quickly stay locked on frame by frame
- Multiple speakers — facial mapping isolates and tracks each person in the shot so their lip movements are generated independently
Why those three things matter
Studio talking-head footage is the easy case. Real ad creative is messier: creators hold the product up next to their face, walk while they talk, shoot in mixed lighting, and hand the camera to a second person halfway through. Those are exactly the moments where weaker lip-sync produces a blurred or jittering mouth — and a single glitchy second is enough to make a paid ad look fake. GoSync 3.0 is built around that kind of content: UGC ads, product demos, testimonials and influencer footage.
What it costs
Lip-sync is included on every plan — Starter, Creator Pro and Scale — rather than sold as an add-on. It draws on your monthly token allowance, and the HQ lip-sync setting costs double the tokens of the standard one, so it is worth reserving HQ for the hero cuts you actually intend to run as paid ads.
